John
John is the salon owner, holding State Registration qualification. He has over 30 years of experience within the gents’ hairdressing business gaining many national competition awards over the years. As the successful owner of Cads of Micklegate for some 30 years now, John still has a vibrant enthusiasm for the profession.
John uses his wealth of experience to offer advice not only in styling but also on the product needs of clients.
John is a dedicated family man but also has a passion for golf and will be on the course whenever possible.

Amy
Amy has now been with Cads for over 5 years and continues to bring a really positive and enthusiastic approach to her work. She is not only a highly experienced barber but is now bringing her management skills on board as she moves to a managers position dealing with all the day to day running of the salon. She is always keen to bring fun to our team whilst working with such details in every style she does.
Amy always aims to give her customers the opportunity to have a consultation in order that all customers walk away satisfied and feeling their best.

Mark
BLADE RUNNER GENTS HAIRDRESSING
Mark has many years of experience in the hairdressing industry having trained with Toni and Guy after gaining his NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. Mark worked in a top Leeds Salon for fifteen years before Mark decided to specialise in Gents Hairdressing, training with Simon Shaw at the Wahl Academy. Mark also has a wealth of knowledge in hair colouring and is trained as a colour technician with the worldwide brand Wella.

Taniya
Taniya is now going into her 10th year as a female barber. Taniya started her career in ladies hair in 2008 leading her to men’s hair in 2012 where she qualified as a Barber gaining her NVQ level 2 qualification. She instantly fell in love with the male grooming industry.
Taking her career to york working at Cads of Micklegate in 2015 where she gained John’s high-level experience of barbering from John himself.
Taniya has had experience working in one of Leeds’s leading barbers shops.
Taniya strongly believes in starting every haircut with a thorough consultation as it is key to a man’s great haircut.
Taniya’s now excited to be back with us joining the cad’s team in 2022.
